Mahogany Prime Steakhouse

I can’t say enough about how amazing our experience at Mahogany was. We went for the first time to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We made a reservation for a cozy booth, but unfortunately the guests at “our” table were taking a very long time to head out, and we waited quite a bit past our reservation. Totally not the restaurant’s fault, and we did not complain, these are special circumstances. Because of current events, their capacity was significantly limited. They offered to seat us at a table perhaps more quickly, but we didn’t mind waiting for our booth. The staff was so kind and communicative, and brought a complimentary appetizer for us nevertheless! Everything was delicious. The Lobster Cargot was heaven, my chicken Marsala was *amazing* and the Brussels sprouts were perfection. We will definitely be back. Amazing service like this is a rarity.

The new location is brighter, newer. There is a huge glass wine cellar that is impressive. Steak is the same good quality. Temperature is right and flavorful Special Rockefeller oyster is one of the best I personally had. Salad is decent. We order onion rings and they brought out this huge tower of onions. Service is good. They brought the food out in the correct order as they should.

I'm most definitely biased because I once worked here and love the people who I know that still work there. I have yet to dine at a restaurant that has better service than Mahogany. The food is delicious as always. They are accommodating when possible (we asked for specific servers and a specific seating area, and they were able to make it happen even though I called 5 hours before our reservation time). I think my favorite thing about Mahogany, even though it's a small thing, is that it doesn't matter who is walking by your table, if they see your water is running low, they'll refill it for you. Honestly I could keep going on and on about the people I used to work with. Wonderful people. Delightful food. Comfortable atmosphere. Mahogany is a treat that everyone should taste at least once.
